THE ARTIST BEHIND THE WORK
Instinct. Experience. Musical Storytelling.
Background
Thirty years of helping voices last
Roberta has spent more than three decades helping artists develop powerful, sustainable voices for the stage, screen, and recording studio. She is known for her expertise in Broadway vocal technique, musical theatre audition preparation, and vocal health for professional performers.
Her work combines classical vocal training, contemporary commercial music styles, and practical audition strategies used in the Broadway industry today. She specializes in helping singers build technique that supports long performance runs while maintaining vocal health and flexibility across musical styles.
She is widely recognized for coaching Russell Crowe and Hugh Jackman for their roles in the film adaptation of Les Misérables. Her students regularly appear on Broadway, national tours, television and film, and major music platforms including The Voice and American Idol.
Roberta founded Vocal Boot Camp America, an intensive training program designed to help singers strengthen their vocal technique, expand their stylistic versatility, and prepare for the real demands of the professional performing industry.
She maintains close connections with casting directors, producers, and creative teams, giving her students insight into the professional audition and rehearsal process.
"Since I've started seeing Roberta, I've gained confidence and so many skills. To say that I'm thankful for Roberta would be an understatement."
