She is an adjunct faculty member in the Music Department at Columbia College in Chicago and maintains an active private vocal studio for professionals. Find out more about studying with Roberta.

Actress
As an actress, Roberta made her Broadway debut in Ragtime (Mother). Her national tour credits include playing The Ghost of Christmas Past inScrooge starring Richard Chamberlain, Magnolia and Ellie in Hal Prince’s Show Boat and Rona Lisa Peretti in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee (Chicago and national touring companies). As a vocalist, she can be heard on numerous recordings, including her debut solo CD, Intersections. Other recordings include “Second City Divas” and “SECOND CITY DIVAS: Live at the Mercury”, and “The American Girls”.

Some of Roberta’s memorable regional credits include the Narrator inJoseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat (TATC), Come Fly With Me (Mercury Theatre), Ain’t Nothin But the Blues (Northlight Theatre), And The World Goes Round (Drury Lane), Cats (Jellylorum), Swing!  (Featured singer), State Fair (Emily Arden), The Taffetas (Cheryl) The Full Monty (Vicky), Hot Mikado (Pitti-Sing) at The Marriott Theatre, Janet Weiss in The Rocky Horror Show (CCPA), Lady Capulet in The Second City’s Romeo and Juliet (Chicago Shakespeare), Irene Malloy in Hello Dolly (Skylight Opera), and The Visit (Goodman Theatre).

Roberta was a featured soloist at the prestigious Ravinia Festival as well as performing as Frieda in Sunday in the Park with George starring Audra McDonald and Michael Cerveris and Mrs. Segstrom in A Little Night Music starring Patti LuPone.
